Getting rather busy again
My 15 minutes of fame this month when the RPS DIG newsletter had a feature about me and my photography! One acceptance in the 2020 Solihull Exhibition - that's one better than last year... The first print heat of the year proved successful, winning the mono and colour sections. Thank you Brian Pere. Mind you, there were only 10 entries in each. The photographic highlight of February must be the morning spent at Natural Light Studio in Weedon with two models, Tillie Feather and Bou Clette. One painted silver, one painted gold. Dorothy and I also attended a very wet RPS East Anglia photography day in the grounds of the Open University at Milton Keynes. I gave my print talk "Trevor's People" to the Kettering and District PS. Three acceptances in Midphot, two acceptances in the Bristol Salon, two in Southport and two in the Clay Cross Exhibition - that's a bit better. An excellent talk (as usual) "Travelling Light" by Anne Sutcliffe FRPS at the camera club. I attended the AGM of the RPS Digital Imaging Group at Smethwick, and was pleased that my print "Room With A View" made it into the top 30 and will therefore be included in the travelling exhibition. That was followed by another excellent talk, this time by Sue Brown FRPS. I judged the annual Print Trophy competitions at Lutterworth PS. Yet another great talk at the camera club, this time Gianpiero Ferrari and some fabulous Australian wildlife photos. And I managed to get some sport photography done at the Stamford v Worksop football match.
