January 2020

The photographic activities resume. My two camera clubs started back this month. The major photographic highlights for January were probably the two hour studio session with the lovely Holly (Ivory Flame), and giving my new print talk "Trevor's People" its inaugural booking at Northampton Camera Club. I also had three prints on show at The Castle, Wellingborough for the East Midlands Monochrome Group's travelling exhibition. I visited a very inspiring exhibition at the Yarrow Gallery in Oundle, showing the work of David Townshend ARPS. Three football matches were attended and photographed. And now that I have joined the Smartphone brigade I am enjoying playing with Snapseed, and will be entering the next Mobile Phone competition at the Desborough and Rothwell PS. I am also enjoying my "Facebook Challenges". Catherine Knee of Leicester Forest PS has set a year-long weekly challenge which I have managed to keep up with so far, and I have set myself my own challenge for a Historic Motorsport page to publish one car photo every day for a year...So far so good.
