I haven't taken many photos myself this month. A day out in Camden Lock was the only trip that could in any way be considered photographic. However, I have been very busy looking at other people's work. I've judged at Wellingborough, Dunchurch, Corby, Bedford and Daventry in October. I also visited the exhibition of the Spratton Photography Group.I was disappointed not to get any acceptances in this year's Dingwall Exhibition, but I scraped one acceptance into the Shrewsbury Open and that just got me my BPE2* ribbon. I was pleasantly surprised to be awarded the Print Trio Trophy and the Print Panel Trophy by Hazel Manning at my own camera club. It has to be said that there were not many entries...! I've heard some wonderful talks at my two camera clubs this month, from Tony Lovell, Malcolm Hupman and Peter Butlin. Just about photographic - I've bought a dashcam and also just entered the world of smartphones...
